Wednesday 16th November (RESCHEDULED from 28th July): Alexander in conversation with Victor Stock, Dean of Guildford Cathedral

This colloquium will be held in the Watts Gallery where Alexander will discuss his work with The Very Reverend Victor Stock, exploring the concept of ‘Spirit of Place’ in Faith, Art and Architecture. Both Alexander and Victor Stock are great raconteurs; their conversation will be broad, incisive and almost certainly very amusing - all that with fabulous paintings full of light and beauty to fuel the imagination and provide an escape from the onset of winter!

TRAVEL:
Car: From A3 take B3000 from A3 signed to Godalming/Farnham (brown signs to Loseley) and then Compton. After the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the first left on the B3000, this is Down Lane. Follow the road pass the Watts Chapel on your right hand side and you will see the entrance for the Gallery shortly after this on your right.
Rail: Guildford Station. Trains from Waterloo run direct to Guildford approximately 4 times an hour.
