Internationally celebrated watercolour painter Alexander Creswell is delighted to open the doors of Watts's Great Studio to show new works and recent important commissions. Alexander has enjoyed breathing life and creativity into Great Studio which has not been used as a painter's studio since Watts's death in 1904. This exhibition is an opportunity to see Great Studio as a working space filled with glorious paintings including a vast new work of Venice which will be the largest watercolour of its type ever painted. Great Studio is a powerful place to create paintings which are shown alongside their sketches and maquettes.

Directions to Great Studio:

Compton is easily accessible by car as it is signed just off the A3 south of Guildford.
Take the B3000 from the A3 signed to Godalming/Farnham (brown tourist signs to Loseley House) and then Compton. After the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the first left on the B3000, this is Down Lane. Pass the Watts Chapel on your right and take the next left signposted Watts Great Studio and take the immediate right, again following signs to Great Studio. Pass the little pond on your right and park on the grass.
