The Big Image

Most of my paintings go into private collections and almost invariably remain beyond public view.  So to give the most important larger works a wider exposure, I have devised a method of recreating the images as one-off facsimiles, created on the same watercolour paper on a large scale, then hand finished. These Big Images look most impressive displayed exactly as they would be in the studio, naked and frameless, suspended in space not confined to the wall. These are one-off installations in their own right, not to be confused with framed prints.

We also make theatrical scrims with details from my paintings enlarged to a vast scale, creating amazing settings in an interior.  We can disguise and adapt anything anywhere!  Every season at Grange Park Opera the ghosts of its past elegance are rekindled by our Big Images with huge hangings of palatial interiors created on scrims. These include an entire room in a Venetian palazzo.

Event Concept commissioned us to convert Old Billingsgate Market, London, into an enchanted English garden for The Russian Economic Forum's Alice in Wonderland party. Here we made a 40m curtain to split the market hall.

We have lined the walls of agricultural barns and marquees and even wrapped a car!
